Day And Night Blanket
Day and Night blanket is a version of the traditional beaded Strip blanket worn by the Northern Plains people. According to designer Arthur Amiotte, a Lakota Sioux and professor of Native American art, the red and blue halves symbolize exceptionally sacred days (red) and nights (blue). During courting, a young plains man would wrap himself and his beloved in this robe, to provide privacy and allow for a few moments of intimate conversation. 82% pure virgin wool/18% cotton. Felt bound. Dry clean. Made in the USA.
