A Memoir of one man's living his dream of a life in the wilderness on the Canadian side of Rainy Lake. A true story of many adventures and survival in the unforgiving wilderness. I left civilization as a young man of 22 full of energy and passion to live off the land. I was unprepared for the harsh reality of the environment, resulting in many adventures and survival situations. The book is also about the culture of the area during this time period-1975 to 1979. One will meet many interesting characters that lived in the area that I formed relationships with. It is also a story about redemption. Living in the natural world untouched by man led me to believe that God created it. This led me to a life changing faith in Christ.
