This is the badge given to me upon my successful retirement in good standing with the Patrol. It takes the proper number of years and career standing to achieve this gift. The badge is in a wallet encasement and a treasure to all troopers reaching their final goal. It symbolizes many night and holiday shifts away from our families, horrific accidents, upset people from enforcement actions and the emotions our troopers take home.
